Their chosen style is dark, acoustic folk, with emphasis of Ben Rogers’ searching, melancholic vocals and enough strings to get George Martin raising a quizzical eyebrow. There’s reports that Trick Of The Night was recorded in various unsavoury locations such as old prisons and lunatic asylums. If they were after an oppressive, constricted atmosphere, then they’ve succeeded, though you wont feel the need to leave.
