Jordan Doell A few words with country singer and guitar player, Jordan Doell. Leicester Bangs: Tell us a little about yourself, and your band (if applicable). Jordan: I am a Country music singer from Vancouver, Canada and I have been a singer and performer since the age of 7. LB: How did you start out making music? Jordan: Singing with my father who is a gospel recording artist. LB: Who did you grow up listening to and how do they influence what you’re doing now? Jordan: Hank Williams, George Jones Dwight Yoakam, Elvis, and a little of the Beatles as well. Lots of great melodies; it's all about the song. LB: Tell us about your latest release. Jordan: It's a great record full of real Nashville songs from some of the best writers in the industry. We even did a country version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin". Jordan: I am a full time musician and I tour throughout western Canada. I perform at Rodeos, Music Festivals, and Special Events as well as Clubs. My shows are always high energy, I have great musicians in my band and we like to have fun. LB: What aspects of playing and recording music do you most enjoy?
