Will Brady A few words with guitarist Will Brady, who’s latest release is simply entitled Solo Guitar Leicester Bangs: Tell us a little about yourself. Will: I have been playing / teaching guitar 24/7 for over 45 years and have been involved in many recordings. LB: How did you start out making music? Will: See my website www.willbrady.com for any bio info. LB: Who did you grow up listening to and how do they influence what you’re doing now? Will: Muddy, Miles, Laurindo Almeida, Ry Cooder and many others are a constant inspiration. LB: Tell us about your latest release. Will: All solo acoustic instrumental guitar pieces. Hopefully I found a combination of simplicity and sophistication. Subtle grooves, savory harmony, lyrical melody. Much of it is improvised. LB: Do you get out and play your music live, and if so, what can an audience expect at one of your shows? Will: Live you might hear some original vocals, blues and jazz. A few instrumental pieces. A joke or two. My wife, Sarah, often sits in on ukulele and vocals. Funny hats and smoke machines... just kidding. LB: What aspects of playing and recording music do you most enjoy?
